The watch is 11.8mm thick, and we also revised both the bezel and the dial.
When we say the proportions are close to the original 5513, we do not mean every dimension is exactly the same. The original 5513 has a sloped inner rehaut, which makes the dial appear smaller. On our version, we changed that to a straight inner rehaut, rehaut looks smaller, so the dial opening looks larger. Because of that, the printed minute track had to be reduced a bit to keep the visual balance right.
We also enlarged the bezel to 40.7mm. During development, we compared the overall proportions carefully against the original 5513, so even though some measurements were adjusted, it still looks natural and balanced rather than strange.
This is also why the WD5513Q(VH31 version) looks a little different. Its bezel is smaller at 40mm, and the bezel teeth are shorter. The WD5513P9PT5000 version) and WD5513M(9015/90S5 version) use a newly redesigned larger bezel and a revised dial layout.
Supplementary Note:
The Tropical Brown dial is intentionally designed with a faux-aged vintage texture. Small specks or marks on the dial are a normal part of this effect and are not dust, damage, or a quality issue.
